Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Botsaris studied at the Proarte Music School before completing degrees at London’s SAE and Middlesex University. In 2013, Pedro moved to Brazil to launch Antfood São Paulo and more recently to the Netherlands, where he is responsible for our studio in Amsterdam. His work has more Cannes Lions and he was honored by ABP “Profissionais do ano” as the top music producer in Brazil in 2016.

  • Lourenço Schmidt
  • Lou devoted his entire adolescence to playing guitar as fast as possible, but one day he grew tired of playing sixths at 180 BPM. He went on to study composition at UFRGS in Porto Alegre, where he developed a passion for the intricate textures of electroacoustic and orchestral music. Stop by Antfood SP to see the master at work, chopping and distorting found noises, creating abstract textures while interweaving some “normal” notes to keep it interesting. In his free time, Lou works on his solo career and plays video games.

  • Liz Higgins
  • Liz was raised on Suzuki violin and has amassed over seventeen years of public education culminating in a film degree from the University of Michigan. She has years of experience producing music and sound for brands like Nike, General Mills, Pepsi, BMW, and Google. But it’s her background in holiday window fabrication, Optimist Pram sailing, and kitten wrangling that completes the perfect skill set for all your bidding needs.

  • Trevor Haimes
  • Trevor is French/American and is a local to NYC. He grew up listening to his sister playing Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 Op. 18 on the piano while learning how to become an electronic music producer on his spare time. His father’s obsession with Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys and his mother’s affection for Francis Cabrel and Serge Gainsbourg left a lasting impression on music’s possibilities. Today he’s still a musician at heart with a goal to create 999 unique kick drums through analog synthesis. God Bless Him.

  • Christiane Rachel
  • Christiane Rachel Gamas Abreu de Carvalho is a true Paulista (born and raised in São Paulo), and maintains a deep pride in her Portuguese heritage. Since she was young, she dreamt of working in advertising - following novel campaigns and experimenting with film and video. Subsequently, she chose to study Advertising at Mackenzie Presbyterian University and Graphic Design at the Pan-American Art School. Later, she studied Cinema at Academia Internacional de Cinema, with the intention of becoming a director, but when she started interning at an audio production company and entered the world of music - she was hooked! When Chris is not managing jobs and attending clients at Antfood she practices photography, sewing, graphic design and caring for her little dog, Jolie.

  • Spencer Casey
  • Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Spencer discovered a fondness for music at a young age. Beginning with picking out pop melodies on the family piano and evolving into hunching over a 4-track in lieu of sleep, Spencer’s growing interest in music led him to pursue a degree in Music Technology at New York University. In his spare time, Spencer enjoys soldering, playing in Past Planes, and coping with the embarrassment of yet another losing season for the Orioles.

  • Pablo Mello
  • Born and raised in São Paulo, Pablo’s career in music started at age 19 as a studio assistant. He then embarked on an educational tour, studying at Instituto de Áudio e Video in São Paulo, School of Audio Engineering in London, and most recently at Berklee College of Music in Boston. With 15 years of experience under his belt, Pablo is AntfoodSP’s chief audio engineer and technician. In his spare time, Pablo studies music theory, piano and how to not fall on his longboard.

  • Yuta Endo
  • Yuta is a self-taught composer and sound designer, with a degree in physics from Brown University.

  • Vinicius Nunes
  • Born in Salvador, Brazil, Vinicius is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and engineer. At 13, he began his career playing on Carnival floats in Bahia, and has been creating music ever since. After studying advertising communication at Universidade Católica do Salvador, he went on to earn a degree in audio engineering at IAV in São Paulo. Vinicius has played with many Brazilian artists, including his band Pirigulino Babilake, and has produced music for clients such as Citroen, Nike and Nova Schin.

  • Pran Bandi
  • Born and raised in England as a first-generation immigrant, Pran moved across the ocean and embraced a third culture to study Music Production/Engineering and Composition at Berklee College of Music. Initially seduced into music by the guitar, he has developed a great passion for understanding technology and using it creatively. At Antfood he spends his time writing, designing, and engineering, as well as supplying the studio with Earl Grey (which he drinks borderline aggressively). When he’s not at Antfood, Pran is generally busy producing records, or writing his own music.

  • Amanda Wahlström Plantin
  • Amanda is a pianist, singer, and composer from Malmö, Sweden. A few years back, she moved to São Paulo, Brazil, to study religion, but pretty soon she realized she had to take her beloved music making to another level and started working at Antfood. Since then, she has been studying audio engineering at IAV, making music for clients such as Samsung and Mitsubishi, and is slowly leaving her classical background for an expedition into the universe of electronic music. When she is not at Antfood, she plays with her band Elephant Run or works on her solo projects, always with a cup of coffee in hand.

  • Dalton Harts

  • Mercedes Aviles
  • Mercedes. The name says it all. Luxury, sophistication, attitude. (Lifestyle)

  • Pedro Curvello
  • Pedro was born in Rio de Janeiro but raised in the frigid, cold mountains of Friburgo. He started playing guitar and keyboards in bands, while completing Bachelor’s degree in Composition at UNIRIO. As he started working on scores for plays and independent shorts, his undeniable passion for music for picture only grew stronger and stronger, which led him to New York for a Masters in Scoring for Film and Multimedia, at NYU Steinhardt.
