Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Spencer discovered a fondness for music at a young age.  Beginning with picking out pop melodies on the family piano and evolving into hunching over a 4-track in lieu of sleep, Spencer's growing interest in music led him to pursue a degree in Music Technology at New York University.  In his spare time, Spencer enjoys soldering, playing in Past Planes,  and coping with the embarrassment of yet another losing season for the Orioles.
