A beautifully crafted short film from Oddfellows, “The Junebugs”, is a dreamlike, visual interpretation of the Steve Scafidi poem of the same name. The story portrays Abraham Lincoln’s flashback to a scene from his childhood farm, the last thing the president sees after John Wilkes Booth’s shot is fired. We recorded violins, piano, wind chimes, and Foley sound design to carefully reflect the setting and score the undercurrent of the impending conclusion to the film.
